Sheep Ultrasound Pregnancy Scanning
Flockscan was established in 2012 to service southern Qld and northern NSW. A walk through scanning crate and BCF OVI-SCAN 6 Ultrasound are used to identify empty, single and multiple bearing ewes. There is the option of drafting larger mobs of ewes two or three ways automatically. RFID data transfer to Trutest XR devices is also available. Dohne Assessing
The Dohne Merino is a dual purpose breed providing a quality meat carcase and fine/medium apparel wool. In 2006, Bruce completed his accreditation and was appointed as a Dohne assessor by the Australian Dohne Breeders Association. Bruce has been interested in the Dohne breed for many years and currently operates a sheep property west of Stanthorpe in south eastern Qld, running Dohne Merino ewes.
